The Republic of Armenia strongly condemns this crime of the Azerbaijani-Turkish alliance and reaffirms its determination to neutralize any existential threat to the people of Artsakh by all means, together with the Artsakh authorities.
[From the statement of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the targeting of civilian objects of Artsakh, Hadrut-Stepanakert cities on October 2]
On October 2, the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan continued to criminally target the peaceful settlements of the Artsakh Republic. This time the capital Stepanakert was hit, the city of Hadrut, as a result of which there were wounded among the civilian population.
Armed with foreign armed terrorists, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, unable to achieve any success on the battlefield during the six-day battle, launched mass atrocities against the civilian population of Artsakh.
The attacks are mostly carried out by Turkey, in the framework of military-technical cooperation, with the use of military equipment, weapons, and coordination with Turkish military specialists.
At the same time, in an attempt to justify these other gross violations of international humanitarian law committed during the war against Artsakh, Azerbaijan is spreading false rumors that the Armenian side is targeting its civilian settlements.
