The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain the onslaught of the occupation troops. The situation in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhiv, and Vremiv directions remains tense – the enemy is concentrating its main offensive efforts there. In addition, the occupiers are actively attacking in the Lymansky direction today.
To date, 171 combat clashes have occurred. Today, the terrorist state carried out 6 airstrikes, dropping 9 KABs. In addition, the invaders used 752 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out more than 4,100 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our units in the Hatyshchya area once the attack was repelled, the enemy was unsuccessful.
The enemy attacked our positions in the Kupyansky direction six times. Near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, and Lozova, the Defense Forces units repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Lyman direction, today, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian defenders in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Zeleny Gay, Platonovka, Pershotravneve, Nadiya, Makiivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Ivanivka and Bilogorivka. Our soldiers repelled 23 enemy attacks, three clashes are ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has made one futile attempt to push our defenders from their occupied positions in the Zolotarivka area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Chasovy Yar and Stupochok. Two more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders have tried to advance seven times in the areas of Shcherbynivka and Toretsk, and two enemy attacks are currently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, during this day, the aggressor has attacked our positions 40 times in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Solone, Novoolenivka, Novovasylivka and Novoelizavetivka. Eight clashes are still ongoing. According to available information, the losses of the invaders in the direction for today amounted to 482 people killed and wounded, one infantry fighting vehicle, two cars and one motorcycle were destroyed, in addition, two tanks, six armored combat vehicles and three units of enemy automotive equipment were significantly damaged.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the invaders have made 18 attempts to advance at this time of day. Three attacks are ongoing. The enemy attacked near the settlements of Ukrainka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhovo, and Dachne. In this direction, the enemy losses amounted to 74 invaders killed and wounded, one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle and one enemy vehicle were destroyed, in addition, three armored personnel carriers and one enemy mortar were damaged.
In the Vremiv direction, today, the aggressor stormed the front line of our defense 19 times near the settlements of Kostiantynopolske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Kostiantynopol and Pryvilne, and two clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Prydniprovske direction, our troops repelled one enemy attack.
In the Orikhiv and Hulyaipil directions, the enemy did not conduct any active actions.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct operations in the Kursk direction. Today, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 38 attacks by the invading army in this direction.
Today, we celebrate the soldiers of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol and the 124th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade for their effective combat work.
