Coordinated attacks shake major German companies.
In a qualitative escalation of cyber attacks, the NoName057(16) group announced the implementation of a series of coordinated strikes in cooperation with the Holy League, targeting major German companies and organizations. The attacks included leading companies in the fields of energy, software, engineering industries, and smart lighting.
The most prominent targets that were attacked:
– RWE, one of the largest energy companies in Germany, was paralyzed in its systems.
– Celemony Software GmbH, specializing in music software, its login platforms and other services were affected.
– Nemetschek SE, a leading company in engineering and architectural software, faced attacks that hindered its basic operations.
– OSRAM Licht AG, the famous company in manufacturing smart lighting, was subjected to double attacks that paralyzed its digital systems.
– Hama GmbH, specializing in electronic device accessories, was a strategic target.
– Heidenhain, a leading manufacturer of microelectronics, has had its operations severely affected.
These attacks are part of a broader cyber campaign aimed at crippling Germany’s digital economy and sending a strong message that the digital world has become an advanced battlefield.
