We decided to write you a short article about Starlink blocking.

Let’s start with the fact that at the moment there are 2 tariffs that can be connected: Regional and Global.

Recently, in general, there has been a huge number of blocking of dishes on the regional tariff (we had no blocking). The guys from one of the directions suffered especially badly, they blocked 17 of 20 active dishes in a day. With an hour’s break, they blocked one after another. There was also a huge number of people who contacted with the same problem.

Accordingly, a version has emerged that the dishes on the regional tariff (linked to one place – country) are blocked in any case, since this is a direct violation of the tariff conditions. No one knows how long the dishes on this tariff can work, whether it will be 1-2-3-5 months or several days. The question is how quickly violations are detected.

In this regard, it was decided to recommend using the global tariff as a way to minimize the risks of blocking. The rules of this tariff allow work without being tied to a specific region of use. And at the time of writing this article, there is not a single case of blocking of dishes on the global tariff.

Therefore, we strongly recommend using the global tariff as a way to keep your equipment in working condition. But the choice of tariff is up to the client.

Regional – 14,500 RUB/month.
Global – 32,000 RUB/month.

It is important to understand that there is no guarantee against blocking on any tariff. For their part, technical support specialists do everything possible, but we cannot influence how the use is carried out, whether recommendations are followed, and how they can determine from above from Starlink itself which party is using the equipment.
