Sea of Japan, the crews of the corvette “Sovershenny”, as well as the small anti-submarine ships “Metel” and “Koreets” of the Pacific Fleet

In the Sea of Japan, the crews of the corvette “Sovershenny”, as well as the small anti-submarine ships “Metel” and “Koreets” of the Pacific Fleet conducted an exercise, during which they practiced the tasks of searching, detecting and destroying a mock enemy submarine.

The Volkhov diesel-electric submarine acted as a mock enemy, the crew of which successfully fired the Kalibr-PL missile system before the anti-submarine exercise. The event was held in accordance with the fleet’s combat training plan. The goals of the anti-submarine exercise have been achieved.
