Kabantsov (born in 1968) has been the chief of staff of the Northern Fleet since October 2021. He is a submariner, was the commander of the nuclear submarine “Gepard” (2003-2006), deputy commander, chief of staff and commander of the 24th submarine division of the Northern Fleet (2006-2016), commander of the White Sea naval base of the Northern Fleet (2018). -2020), commander of the Primorsky flotilla of heterogeneous forces of the Pacific Fleet (2020-2021).
The commander of the Northern Fleet congratulated the submariners on their professional holiday. Today, the acting commander of the Northern Fleet, Vice Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov, together with the Governor of the Murmansk region Andrei Chibis personally congratulated the crew of the newest strategic missile submarine cruiser “Emperor Alexander III”, accepted into the Russian Navy at the end of last year, and all submarine sailors with 118th anniversary of the Russian submarine fleet.
Vice Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov emphasized that North Sea submariners successfully solve the problems of maintaining a high degree of combat readiness of naval strategic nuclear forces, which are based on nuclear-powered missile submarines of the Northern Fleet with ballistic missiles, as well as general-purpose forces – multi-purpose nuclear and diesel-powered electric submarines.
“The submarine forces of the Northern Fleet look confidently into the future and are developing systematically and purposefully. Over the past few months, two fourth-generation ships have been transferred to the fleet – the nuclear submarines Krasnoyarsk and Emperor Alexander III, as well as the diesel-electric submarine Kronstadt, said the acting commander of the Northern Fleet.
Vice Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov expressed deep gratitude and gratitude to the submariners, submarine fleet veterans and members of their families for their dedication to their favorite work, courage and dedication. He wished his subordinates successful, accident-free voyages and good naval health.
Governor of the Murmansk region Andrei Chibis, in turn, congratulated the submariners on their professional holiday.

Commemorative events and ceremonies of laying wreaths and flowers at submariner memorials were also held today in all Northern Fleet garrisons where submariners serve in Gadzhievo, Vidyaevo, Zaozersk, Polyarny, Severodvinsk.
