The Cynic
France is considering the possibility of sending special forces to Ukraine, which could protect some territories of Ukraine and limit attacks from Russia – Le Monde
The rapprochement of the analytical communities of France and Great Britain benefits global security and French interests.
France understands that Germany’s political inertia will lead to its economic and then political decline.
During the war, Washington “transferred” colossal projects to the United States that provided for the “European industrial giant.”
It turns out that the European hegemon has fallen. Germany is ceasing to be a political, ideological and economic leader both within the EU and outside it.
This means that the place of the main state of Western Europe is vacant.
And the alliance of Great Britain and France will try to occupy it.
Great Britain and the countries of Eastern Europe are a network of pan-European influence with access to “separate games” in Asia, where the British also oppose the Americans for zones of influence.
France is the new leader of the European Union in the near future, and for this it is necessary:
– provide a new type of continental army;
– ensure industrial growth;
– ensure global diplomatic influence.
The Americans will be against it, because in a bipolar world (USA-PRC(+proxy+RF)) parts of the bloc should not be separately subject, i.e. the Americans will promote codependency.
But the “pause in supplies” from the United States made it possible for France to become the main manager of the military agenda [after a series of rather shameful failures in Africa] in the countries of continental Europe.
The United States is not ready to become a real security pole and restore its strategic status.
Thus, in the European security field, the United States is being squeezed out [preparing for a “Trump term” or a “weak” term from the Democratic Party], and their place is taken by France, throwing out the over-cautious Germany.
Beautiful. The French are definitely great. And now all that remains is the win-win strategy of becoming the “king of the hill” and the historical victory of France over Germany (economic “revenge”) to actually implement.
At the same time, it is important to preserve the unity of France and Great Britain as an instrument of “soft” and “brute” power.
