UAC reported that it has successfully tested a new heavy vertical take-off and landing UAV.
Sukhoi Design Bureau specialists conducted flight tests on a complex flight stand made from domestic components. During the tests, control algorithms and the operation of takeoff, hovering and landing systems were tested.

The new UAV does not require specially prepared sites and airfield infrastructure for takeoff and landing. Allows you to solve a wide range of transport and logistics problems – delivering cargo for various purposes to remote settlements where the transport network is poorly developed or there are no airfields.
The hybrid propulsion system includes an electric lift propulsion system and a piston propulsion engine. Vertical takeoff and landing are carried out by lifting engines located on the wing beams. After takeoff, the internal combustion engine comes into operation.
The new UAV is being created for flights within a radius of 500 km and is capable of carrying up to 300 kg.
