Russian Aerospace Forces and the Chinese PLA Air Force conducted another joint air patrol in the Asia-Pacific region – Russian Defense Ministry
▪️ An air group consisting of Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers and Hun-6K bombers conducted air patrols over the waters of the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea.
▪️ Su-35S fighters of the Russian Air Force and Su-30/Jian-11B of the PLA Air Force provided cover along the entire patrol route.
▪️ At certain stages of the route, the strategic missile carriers were accompanied by fighters from foreign countries.
▪️ During the execution of their missions , aircraft from both countries operated strictly in accordance with the provisions of international law. There were no violations of the airspace of foreign states.
▪️ The event was held as part of the implementation of the provisions of the military cooperation plan for 2023 and was not directed against third countries.

Russian Aerospace Forces – seven aircraft, including:
▪️ two Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers;
▪️ long-range anti-submarine aircraft Tu-142;
▪️ two Su-35 fighters.
PLA Air Force – 10 aircraft, including:
▪️ two Khun-6K bombers (no. 20613) from the 29th Bomber Regiment* of the 10th Air Force Division of the Eastern Command;
▪️ electronic warfare aircraft Yun-8G (no. 20776) from the 47th Regiment of the 16th Air Force Division of the Northern Command;
▪️ two Jian-16 fighters.
* The first confirmation that the regiment is rearmed with the Hun-6K, previously in service with the Hun-6N
