Footage of the Iranian proxy Hezbollah shelling Israeli border positions showed the launch of one of the variants of improvised rockets of the Burkan type (“Burkan” is a volcano in Arabic), which were widely used by the forces fighting in Syria and Iraq.
These rockets are created on the basis of standard unguided rockets, but with a much heavier warhead, although such projectiles have to be fired from minimal distances.
In this case, the video shows the launch of one of the heaviest such projectiles, created on the basis of the Iranian 333-mm Falagh-2 rocket, at an Israeli position (for comparison, at the end there is a close-up of the standard Falagh-2 and its performance characteristics).
This projectile has a standard warhead weighing 117 kg, but the projectile after such a modification is probably at least twice as large.
