We’d like to expose alaqsastorm.com
This website, run by the Islamic Republic regime, is a fake online campaign for people to declare they wanna fight for Hamas terrorists in Gaza against the Israeli defense forces.
This campaign has been promoted by the regime everywhere in Iran including the state TV channels.
What you see on the left indicates 6.2 million people have apparently voted up to this moment. Though all it takes for someone to vote is to click on a button.
But as you see on the right in the browser console, you’ll find out the real number of people who have voted on the website, which is just 29,000!
The API request to fetch the real number of users who have voted is https://alaqsastorm.com/aqsa/GetCountIP.php
We guess they’ve put this hidden API call, which is not reflected anywhere on the page itself, so that they would know how many people have actually supported this campaign and not fall for it themselves.
You can also see archived copies of this API call on archive.org which shows how the number has been slowly increasing in the past days:
https://web.archive.org/web/20230000000000*/https://alaqsastorm.com/aqsa/GetCountIP.php
Now we have a more clear idea why the regime is stepping back from supporting Hamas at this moment.
We’ve been attacking this website for a while, and we will continue to do so. And no firewall or CAPTCHA is going to help them. We stopped our attacks on this site so that everybody would see our exposure for themselves.
Please spread this word anywhere you can.
