Iran has introduced a new generation of Khorramshahr IRBM – Khorramshahr-4, which was also given its own name Khaibar. The declared basic performance characteristics in terms of range and mass of the warhead coincide with those of previous

Khorramshahr missiles, that is, a maximum range of 2000 km and a warhead of 1500 kg, but it is stated that the new version of the missile is distinguished by the presence of a guidance and control system in the middle flight section (outside atmosphere) and the use of this system and guidance engines in the warhead make it possible to control and correct flight in a vacuum, which complicates the interception of missiles. In addition, the new version of this rocket uses ampouled storage of self-igniting liquid propellant components, since it is stated that the rocket can be refueled for many years, which accordingly makes it possible to launch it in a very short time.
