China is crowding out Philippine ships – Ramming
A Chinese coast guard ship (no. 5203) hit a Philippine boat with its bow in the South China Sea, which was involved in resupplying and rotating personnel of the Philippine Armed Forces on the sunken ship SIERRA MADRE (LS57) in the area of the Second Thomas Shoal (Ayungin Shoal).
As part of the same mission, Philippine coast guard vessel MRRV4409 collided with the port side of Chinese maritime militia vessel CMMV00003 6.4 km northeast of Ayungin.
China continues to send signals to the Philippines that it has nothing to do in the waters adjacent to the Ayungin Shoal, which Beijing considers its own.
