Alexey Khripunov, General Director of Aeroscript Research Center, says:
First of all, to improve flight safety. It is a tool that allows the UA operator to:
- Assess the risks of the flight;
- study official aeronautical information;
- Check legal requirements.
This can be done automatically in the CPU. In a modern CPU, you can go through all the checks right on your mobile phone, it takes no more than 2 minutes.

Today, digital platforms allow you to receive some approvals for flights automatically, in the near future the entire process of accessing airspace will be automated.
It is very important that the UAS is connected to the CPU during the flight. This enables the operator to receive additional services during the flight. The operator can use the UA Digital Flight Information Platform (DIS) application to fly the drone. In this case, while retaining all the tools for working with the device, he additionally receives information about the surrounding air situation, flight recommendations (for example, the risk of being in a restricted area). Also, the external pilot transmits information about his UAV to others. This at least allows all UAV operators to be in a single information field, which is very important today.
The barriers to ALS will gradually come down. The role of digital platforms in the conditions of a large number of flights is fundamentally important, and UA operators can use them now.
