Russia’s path to return to Europe after the fall of Putin’s regime is almost inevitable. On this path, the simplest thing is to implement the same European Charter on Local Self-Government, only then supplementing it with national legislative acts. This was told by political analyst and candidate of political sciences Ivan Preobrazhensky in an interview with Alexei Baranovsky .
“This state (Russia) has become obsolete and will have to be re-established. And the issue of succession will be very difficult.
The same Czech Republic considers itself successive in relation to all the states that were on the territory of the Czech Republic. But fraternal Slovakia does not consider itself a successor. It is more honest and responsible to consider yourself the successors of all those who ruled this territory. Regardless of what format the state was. But it is absolutely not necessary to be the successor to Putin’s Russia or the Soviet Union in terms of producing a new imperial discourse and new attempts to colonize neighboring states. And in terms of awareness of the crimes they committed, of course, ” considers Preobrazhensky .
According to him, the way of preparing bills for the future of Russia really has no alternative.
“And in any case, no matter how the struggle for power develops, they will definitely use the developments that the Congress is preparing. There is no other option , ” Preobrazhensky is sure .
