Mironov asked to check Sberbank for the legality of the content of the Kandinsky neural network
Sergei Mironov, the leader of the Just Russia – For Truth faction, suspected the Kandinsky 2.1 neural network from Sberbank of almost treason and asked the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov to check the content of the neural network for legality, and at the same time Sberbank.
According to Mironov in this document, when asked about Russia, the neural network generated responses that obviously contribute to “the formation of its negative image and the positive image of unfriendly countries.”
According to Mironov, it has never been possible to generate a picture in the colors of the Russian flag for requests with the words “Russian”, “Russia”, “Russians”, “Russian flag”. But at the request of “the flag of Ukraine” and “the flag of America”, the pictures fully corresponded to the flags of these countries, the parliamentarian claims.
Moreover, according to the politician, when requesting “Donbass is Russia” and “I love Donbass”, the neural network produced pictures in which the colors of the Ukrainian flag prevailed.
“I ask you to check the activities of PJSC Sberbank in terms of the development of Kandinsky, the intended use of funds for this project, counterparties in the development of this project, as well as for compliance with the current legislation of the content generated by Kandinsky and, if necessary, take the necessary measures of the prosecutor’s response,” the statement says. Mironov’s official letter to the Prosecutor General.
The politician suspected the Sberbank creators of the Kandinsky neural network that they used the developments of unfriendly states, “waging an information and mental war against Russia, forming a negative attitude among network users towards the country, Russians, patriotism, and state symbols of the Russian Federation.”
