Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law exempting developers of military and dual-use programs from paying VAT.
The corresponding document is published on the portal of legal information.
According to the new law, from January 1, 2023, developers who transfer exclusive rights to software and databases included in the unified register of the results of military, special or dual-use research, development and technological work will be exempt from VAT.
The mentioned law was developed and adopted in order to stimulate the economic and civil law circulation of rights to the results of intellectual activity.
