Out of fear of truth leaking through to Russian citizens, Putin bans another external source
Now you can write to the tax office only from Russian e-mail. The Federal Tax Service warned that the acceptance of letters from foreign domains is now blocked on the recommendation of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control. This is done to protect the tax e-mail service “from external negative influences: computer attacks, malware and other things.”
According to the Federal Tax Service, a ban on receiving emails from foreign domains is also established in other government agencies. The agency suggests using mail servers in Russian domains .ru, .su or registered in the services of countries that are not subject to restrictions.
