Trump called “brilliant” Putin’s decision to recognize the LPR and the DPR
“This is brilliant. Putin declared most of Ukraine independent. This is wonderful,” Trump said on iHeart radio station, commenting on the situation around Ukraine and the reaction of the American authorities.
“He intends to enter (the territory of the republics – ed.) and be a peacemaker there. This is the most powerful peacekeeping force … We could use something like that on our southern borders,” Trump added, calling Putin “very savvy.”
