Of the 20 crossings, only the Bab al-Hawi crossing between the Al-Sham editorial board in Idlib and Turkey in Hatay province is fully operational.
The other 8 crossings are limited.
The border crossing at Kasab (northern Latakia province) could be opened by mutual consent of the two countries’ officials, but it has been closed since the beginning of the Syrian war.
