Nothing unusual, just for the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence, the kids in the kindergarten are playing out a scene of the interrogation and execution of a proud Kazakh student by Soviet soldiers. “December uprising” of 1986, Kairat (Qairat) Ryskulbekov (actually hung in prison).

Apparently, the modern interpretation of the “December uprising” in Alma-Ata in 1986.
