Ukrainian parliament approves 2022 military exercizes with foreign troops

The Verkhovna Rada approved the admission of foreign military to Ukraine to participate in the exercises in 2022.  According to the bill, it is assumed that the country will host:

▪️ Multinational training for training units of the Armed Forces.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 19,000 troops, up to 50 aircraft and helicopters, up to 30 ships.

▪️ The United Efforts 2022 multinational exercise.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 12,500 servicemen, up to 70 ships (boats and ships), up to 90 aircraft and helicopters.

▪️ Ukrainian-American exercise “Rapid Trident – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 8,500 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 60 aircraft and helicopters, up to 30 ships (boats and ships).

▪️ Ukrainian-British exercise “Kozak Mays – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 5,500 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 30 aircraft and helicopters, up to 11 ships (boats and ships).

▪️ Multinational exercises “Light Avalanche – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 1,300 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 13 aircraft and helicopters.

▪️ Ukrainian-Polish exercises “Silver Saber – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 5,000 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 16 aircraft and helicopters, up to 10 ships (boats and ships).

▪️ Ukrainian-American exercise “Sea Breeze – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 7,500 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 85 ships (boats and ships), up to 70 aircraft and helicopters.

▪️ Ukrainian-Romanian exercises “Riverine – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 400 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 20 ships (boats and ships), up to 10 aircraft and helicopters.

▪️ Multinational exercise “Maple Arch – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 3,700 servicemen with weapons and military equipment, up to 22 aircraft and helicopters.

▪️ Multinational exercises “Viking – 2022”.  The total number of forces, weapons and military equipment: up to 500 servicemen with equipment and military equipment.
