Analysis of the current situation from the French Foreign Ministry:
– cities in eastern and southern Ukraine are heavily bombed, especially Mariupol and Nikolaev;
– in the rest of the territory the tactical situation remains unchanged.
– Mariupol, the refusal to comply with the Russian ultimatum will initiate an operation to take the city, from which Ukrainian troops will not be able to escape.
– Weak advance of Russian troops between the cities of Zaporozhye (90 km south of the Dnieper) and Krivoy Rog (140 km southwest of the Dnieper).
– Nikolaev, strong bombardments and battles for control over the city and its environs continue.
