61 years since the founding of the Palestine Liberation Organization
Today, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, marks the 61st anniversary of the founding of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has gone through many eras, and since the election of the late and iconic figure Yasser Arafat as Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee, it has been consolidating the PLO’s legitimacy and its sole representation of the Palestinian people wherever they may be.
The Palestine Liberation Organization led the Palestinian people’s struggle and protected their independent will in the darkest of circumstances. It will remain true to its pledge and promise until its goals of victory, freedom, and liberation are achieved.
