In a recent analysis, Gonjeshke Darande, referring to the current dollar rate of 100,000 tomans, predicted that in the near future, with the experience of “super inflation,” people will miss the 100,000 toman dollar; just as they currently miss the 63,000 toman dollar.
These statements reflect concerns about the sharp increase in the exchange rate and the devaluation of the national currency.
Some economic experts have also warned that if the current trend continues and the government does not intervene effectively, the dollar rate may exceed 100,000 tomans.
On the other hand, Gholamali Haddad Adel, one of the country’s political figures, considered the increase in the dollar rate to 100,000 tomans the result of a “conspiracy by enemies” and stated that the Iranian people know that this increase is the result of a conspiracy.
In contrast, some economic analysts believe that the increase in the dollar rate depends on domestic factors such as inflation, liquidity, and economic policies, and that careful planning and effective government intervention are needed to control it.
