The 159th day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Over the past 24 hours, 141 clashes have occurred.
The enemy launched three missile and 35 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used 2 missiles and dropped 60 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out about 5,000 attacks, 116 of them from multiple rocket launchers, and used 2,670 kamikaze drones to strike.
The enemy carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; Turya in Chernihiv region; Fesky in Kharkiv region; and Siversk, Novopil, and Konstantinopol in Donetsk region.
Over the past day, the missile troops of the Defense Forces struck one personnel concentration area, two command posts, and two air defense systems of the Russian invaders.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Kharkiv direction over the past day.
The number of combat clashes in the Kupyansk direction per day reached eight. Defense forces repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Petropavlivka, Golubivka, Zagryzove, and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, our troops stopped 13 enemy attacks. The invaders concentrated their main efforts in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Zeleny Gay, Makiivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Novoplatonivka, Terny and Zarichne.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of Belogorivka, Verkhnokamyansky, and Ivano-Daryivka over the past day.
Seven attempts by the invaders to advance near Pryvillye, Bila Hora, Hryhorivka, and Chasovy Yar were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy tried to advance 14 times in the areas of Krymske, Leonidivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbinivka.
Fifty-three attacks were repelled by our defenders in the Pokrovsky direction over the past 24 hours. The enemy troops are most active near the settlements of Zelene Pole, Elizavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Vodyane Druge, Promin, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Shevchenko, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Ulakly, Kurakhovo, Dachne and Yantarne.
The defense forces continue to restrain the enemy in the Novopavlivka direction. In the areas of the settlements of Konstantinopol, Velyka Novosilka, and Vremivka, the invaders tried to break through the Ukrainian defense lines 11 times.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Hulyaipil direction over the past day.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked the settlement of Novodanylivka.
The enemy made four unsuccessful attempts to capture the positions of our defenders in the Dnieper direction over the past day.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk direction, where the enemy over the past day conducted 20 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units, carried out nine airstrikes, dropped 12 anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 418 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. No signs of enemy offensive formations have been detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts reconnaissance activities and artillery shelling.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders last day amounted to 1,670 people. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 12 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 4 artillery systems, 63 operational-tactical UAVs, 124 vehicles and two units of special equipment of the invaders.
