Russian citizens will be able to connect to the Russian analogue of Starlink by 2030.
Russians will be “guaranteed” to connect to the Russian analogue of Starlink in 2030, but perhaps even earlier – in 2028–2029, Roscosmos head Yuri Borisov said in an interview with the RBC TV channel.
A project similar to Starlink is being implemented by the aerospace company Bureau 1440, the head of the state corporation noted. According to him, the satellite system in low orbits will provide broadband Internet access services. In addition to this, the Skif space group is being developed in medium orbits, both projects will complement each other, Yuri Borisov specified.
