A little information about commercial drones actively used for tactical-level reconnaissance (up to battalion).
3 weak points of drones “out of the box”:
- Weak signal strength between the drone and the remote control. The higher the signal strength, the more difficult it is to intercept.
- Restrictions related to flight zones are enabled. In this mode, using a “Spoofer” (something like an electronic rifle sending the coordinates of a new home (Home)) you can land a drone, including on your own territory.
- Broadcasting of the drone’s ID and the coordinates of the Home point. Firstly, the enemy has time to hide their positions, and secondly, to strike at the coordinates of the Home point.
Later we will talk about how to solve these problems.
Because without solving them:
A. The combat mission is not carried out;
B. The drone is very likely to land on the enemy’s territory. Thus, in fact, without solving these problems, the enemy is sponsored with money collected bit by bit;
B. The operator (and often not only him, since control often occurs from the command vehicle, or someone from the headquarters, signalmen with the battery, artillery reconnaissance, etc.) most often becomes the target of an artillery strike.
All this happens because of “unhacked”, incorrectly “hacked” or not completely “hacked” (that is, from all three problems) drones.
