OSINT researcherBrady Africk(Media Relations Associate, Foreign and Defense Policy at the American Enterprise Institute) published an updated map of Russian fortifications following the latest satellite images.
The updated map shows that Russian troops are expanding new fortifications in Kursk.
Russian and Belarusian Fortifications
This map shows many of the Russian field fortifications in (and around) Ukraine as revealed by satellite imagery derived from ESA’s Sentinel-2 data, as well as Planet Labs, Airbus and MAXAR.
Important notes:
this map should not be considered as a complete list of fortifications of the Russian Federation;
the data does not distinguish between barriers, trenches or other types of fortifications;
fortifications were only included if they appeared or were used after a full-scale invasion.
