▪️The Maritime Security Belt 2024 drills was held with the participation of the armed forces from Iran, China, and Russia, and with the presence of observers from five countries (Oman, Pakistan, South Africa, Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Azerbaijan) in the northern Indian Ocean.
This exercise is being held in an area of 17,000 square kilometers, encompassing the strategic straits of Hormuz, Bab al-Mandab, and Malacca in the northern Indian Ocean.
This strategic region is the most important in terms of energy and trade in the world, and the joint presence of Iran, Russia, and China shows that safeguarding the security of regional shipping lanes is carried out by the naval forces of these three regional countries.
