A unique operation to establish control over the so-called “Boiko towers” was carried out by units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in mid-August 2023.
During the operation, they were attacked by Russian warplanes, and the special forces commander noted that the NATO military, if it conducts such missions, does so only with the support of warships and aircraft.
The story of one of the Ukrainian special forces with the call sign “Conan”, who ended up overboard and spent 14 hours on the open sea (!), became known much later.
Now “Conan” gave a frank interview to Radio Liberty, telling how he managed to survive. It’s worth watching or at least reading a summary.
