A massive propaganda campaign is currently underway in the West, promoting anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic messages and Hamas narratives. On platform X (Twitter) alone, anti-Israeli content has been viewed by about 100 million users since the start of the war. This was reported by the Ynet news portal, citing a study conducted by the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Anti-Semitism.
At the grassroots level, Muslims from different countries, radical left activists and intellectuals from the USA and Europe, as well as various far-right Nazis and anti-Semites are actively involved in the dissemination of these messages. But the leading role in this anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic propaganda is played by large media resources on social networks, which are sponsored and supervised by the state structures of the Axis countries – Russia, Iran and China.
The study emphasizes that Russia’s role in this anti-Israel campaign is enormous, and Hamas sees Moscow as one of its main allies, since, unlike the United States and European countries, it is not recognized by the Russians as a terrorist organization and is considered by the Kremlin as a legitimate political force.
The publication notes that Israel at the state level is not trying in any way to counteract this barrage of disinformation and propaganda of its enemies. All attempts to counter Russia, Iran, China, and the left and far right in the information war usually come from Israeli individuals and international Jewish volunteer organizations and communities.
