Ukrainian Air Force: Russian aggressors launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory from the evening of August 5 to the morning of August 6, 2023 with Iranian suicide bombers and drones “Shaheed-136/131”.
In the first wave of attack, the enemy used 14 cruise missiles and three X-47 Kinzhal missiles. 12 out of 14 calibers were destroyed by air defense. We do not disclose information about Kinjal.
On the night of August 6, the enemy continued its attack with Shahid-136/131 drones from the southeast, Caliber cruise missiles from the Black Sea, and Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea.
We destroyed all 27 Shahid-136/131 drones, 5 out of 6 caliber missiles (second wave) and 13 out of 20 Kh101/kh555 cruise missiles.
