Moscow State University Measles Outbreak

Due to the revealed measles, the second humanitarian educational building of Moscow State University is closed for quarantine, students will study remotely until May 17, a source at one of the faculties studying at GUM told PU.

Doctors are now walking in the hostels of the university, interviewing students.

In accordance with the instruction of the territorial department of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the city of Moscow in the CJSC of Moscow dated May 2, 2023 regarding the 2nd educational building (Leninskiye Gory, 1, p. 52)

I order:

1. The deans of the faculties, together with the Department of Academic Policy, Educational and Methodological Activities and the Organization of the Educational Process (MSU Vice-Rector N.V. Gusev), organize distance learning using e-learning and distance learning technologies for students of structural units – in the 2nd educational building with 02 to 17 May 2023 inclusive.

2. Department of Additional Education (MSU Vice-Rector S.A. Bushev) to organize distance learning using e-learning and distance learning technologies for students of additional education programs, incl. schools of young circles and lecture halls in the 2nd educational building from May 02 to May 17…
