Alexei Navalny said that a separate “terrorist case” was singled out against him in the framework of the criminal case on “extremism”.
Back in the fall of 2022, it was known that the Investigative Committee would accuse Navalny of “calling for terrorism” because of the broadcasts of the Popular Politics YouTube channel. “Propaganda of terrorism” consisted, for example, in the fact that Navalny’s ally Leonid Volkov said on the air of Popular Politics: “It’s right that Colonel Stauffenberg attempted on Hitler, he must be killed.”
At the same time, we won’t be surprised if the Investigative Committee and the FSB are now seriously trying to implement the crazy theory about the involvement of Navalny and the FBK in the destruction of the war criminal Vladlen Tatarsky.
Of course, Navalny and his structures have nothing to do with “terrorism” and any form of force in the fight against the Navalny regime. The main feature of Navalny as a politician is that he always fought for the observance of certain “rules” by the system. He never fought for the abolition of “rules” as such, he could never recognize the depravity of these “rules” themselves, created by the system for the population subject to it.
This position of a distilled legalist was perceived by many as Navalny’s strong point in the era of the ancient white-tape protests, but was already inadequate to the surrounding reality by the 1920s, and after the outbreak of the war became blatantly unacceptable. Nevertheless, even sitting in the depths of Russia’s prison stone bags, Navalny remains the same as he was in the era of Bolotnaya Square – a distilled legalist.
Both the tragedy and the irony of history is that the ineffective opposition strategy, which was also authored by Navalny, turned into a collapse for the old anti-Putin resistance, for Russia – tyranny and war, and for Navalny himself – Stalin’s camp terms.
Yes, we will go the other way. We will act on the basis of military reality and work for the liberation revolution. Our methods will be adequate both to the surrounding reality and to our goals.
