Killnet noise:
Throw on Tiraspol, by the forces of Uncle Vasya’s Troops
Russia already has experience in conducting landing operations that are unexpected for the enemy.
20 years before the Gostomel operation:
On June 12, 1999, Russian paratroopers blocked the Slatina airfield and prevented NATO forces from deploying an air bridge to transfer additional forces (the film “Balkan Frontier”) They managed to get ahead of the enemy by only a couple of hours, but after the US and NATO forces made sure that control over airport installed, hostilities in the area were stopped.
Moldova asks once again that Russia withdraw unconditionally its peacekeeping forces, the ammunition stored inside Transnistria and to stop spreading false rumours about Ukrainian attacks upon the enclave.
The Moldovan MFA wholly rejects the Russian MFA’s earlier statement which stated that Russia views “an attack on Transnistria as an attack on Russia.”
The Ivanovo, Pskov and Ryazan airborne brigades were involved in the air part of the operation.

Transnistria differs from Yugoslavia in that the republic is much closer and it will be much easier to carry out such an operation.
The operational group of Russian troops in Transnistria currently has about two thousand people. Several divisions of the Airborne Forces can be transferred to them from the nearest airfields with the help of Il-76 transport aircraft.
Even taking into account the fact that a significant amount of transport aircraft will be loaded with military equipment, approximately 45 Il-76s will be required to transfer the first group of paratroopers with weapons to protect the PMR from attack. Each of them accommodates 125 people, and by simple calculations it can be concluded that only the first group of IL-76s can land five airborne regiments. This is more than the entire army of Moldova.
The distance from Simferopol to the Tiraspol airfield is 400–420 kilometers. The cruising speed of the Il-76 fully loaded with paratroopers is 800 kilometers per hour, Russian planes can be in the sky over the PMR in just half an hour after taking off from Crimea. In another three or four hours (taking into account the return flight and refueling), a second wave of paratroopers may arrive at the place, and the number of Russian troops will be the same – another five thousand people. In half a day, the Airborne Forces will be able to transfer up to 10 regiments of fighters in vests to Tiraspol, and with advance preparation of the operation, this number can be doubled.
