The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the information that Sergey Surovikin was appointed commander of the joint group of troops in Ukraine.

Such appointments prove that the Russian Federation does not understand at all what kind of war it is waging.

Surovikin is a “heavyweight of the Syrian war”. The Syrian war is known for the fact that the Russian Federation waged it exclusively with small groups of mercenaries using the “scorched earth” tactics, meaning that the opposite side did not have air defense and missile defense systems.

To assign a specialist in “limited type of combat operations” with a pronounced aviation component with a low level of intensity to a war in which Russia cannot carry out air sorties, cannot use “scorched earth” tactics, and cannot do anything with air defense and missile defense – this idiocy.

Also, the “commander” is known as the author of an offensive in the south of controversial effectiveness, when the Russian group, many times superior to the Ukrainian forces in resources and manpower in that sector of the front, advanced at a uniquely slow pace, spending a huge amount of military equipment and personnel, as a result of which, after some time after fixing the “south” fell down.

So Surovikin understands 2 war strategies:

– a war against the natives, who look at the plane as a flying saucer.
– war with a crowd and a barrage of fire, which became impossible after the mass destruction of warehouses with the help of HIMARS.

Actually the second type, taking into account mobilization, will be used. But Suvorikin does not understand it, since he has “knocked his hand” and earned internal authority in the opposite Ukrainian – “Syrian war”.
