Ukraine produces – 11% of the export market of wheat, 18% of corn, 19% of barley, 30% of world production of sunflower oil;
If Russia does not stop the war immediately, sowing in Ukraine will collapse. Then Ukraine will largely or even completely fall out as a supplier of grain and other agricultural products;
In order to provide for its own population, the Government of Ukraine suspended the export of rye, oats, sugar, and restricted the export of wheat, corn, chickens, eggs, and sunflower oil. In conditions of war, this is the only right decision to ensure Ukraine’s food security;”
