The nuclear submarine of the Russian Navy K-329 “Belgorod” is capable of inflicting monstrous damage to the cities of Great Britain. This was stated by defense expert Rob Clark of the Henry Jackson Society.The words of the expert are quoted by the Daily Star newspaper. He notes that the Russian submarine is capable of carrying deadly Poseidon torpedoes.The ship is large enough to carry another small submarine and drones for covert missions.
The drones used by the nuclear-powered ship are capable of damaging submarine cables, on which communication and the UK economy largely depend, the expert believes.
The Belgorod special-purpose nuclear submarine was built at the Sevmash shipbuilding plant. The device was launched into the water in April 2019.
