Four decades of corruption, theft, repression, and lies have brought the Islamic Republic to a point where it is now, out of fear for its own lives, resorting to handguns, tasers, and stun guns instead of serving the people; as if clinging to a weapon could cure pain or neutralize public hatred. The official report confirms that the Faraj Intelligence Organization has handed over thousands of weapons to senior government officials in an unprecedented move, not to defend the country, but to defend themselves against the very people they claimed to represent. This move is not a sign of authority, but an official admission of security failure, widespread distrust, and the near end.
When it comes to the point where the government is forced to equip its employees with weapons, tasers, and stun guns with three official approvals, there is no room for denial. The Islamic Republic has officially declared that it is afraid of the people. And the people who have been humiliated for years, who have taken away their rights, who have responded to their protests with bullets, and who have either killed or imprisoned their children. Now that the time for accountability has come, the regime has decided to turn police stations into barracks, close the doors, and manage the “returnee” quota like a ration, as if people are standing in line for frozen chicken, not waiting for an answer.
The fear of “taking over police stations” and reducing weapons in armories is a direct translation of a truth: the government has admitted that the day of reckoning is near. They have become so accustomed to lies and repression that they now cannot sleep well because of the possibility of weapons falling into the hands of the people. If they had any confidence in themselves, there would be no need for all these walls, gates, weapons, and security measures. If they had the support of the people, they would leave the doors open, not lock them. But a government that lacks legitimacy has no choice but to turn its managers into soldiers; Soldiers who, out of fear of the people, go to meetings with a gas mask and leave the office with a taser.
And the irony of the story is this: the government that claims to be the motherland of Islam is now injecting weapons into the heart of the administrative system with its own hands. And that is not to defend religion or the homeland, but to save a few corrupt managers who only know how to sign, eat, and give orders. A system that resorts to guns instead of reform is no longer a system, but an armed and besieged gang. The future for it is neither a choice, nor a continuation; only escape or surrender. The people of Iran also know very well that there is no longer a need for theories and slogans for freedom, we just have to wait until the government itself is suffocated by the same weapons it has distributed.
