The defense forces continue to defend Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day, 208 combat clashes have occurred, the enemy has launched 47 air strikes on the positions of our troops and settlements, using 63 guided aerial bombs, 1,112 strikes by kamikaze drones, and carried out over 4,800 artillery shells.
Two enemy assaults in the Vovchansk area were stopped by Ukrainians in the Kharkiv direction.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried four times to dislodge our units from the occupied positions near Golubivka and Zagryzove, and one clash is ongoing.
The enemy attacked in the Lyman direction fourteen times, trying to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Yampolivka, Novoserhiivka, towards Novy, Kolodyazy, and Novomykhailivka. Our defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks, and one battle is ongoing.
In the Siverskyi direction, our soldiers successfully stopped six attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka, Verkhnokamyanske, and Ivano-Daryivka. Five clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped four enemy attempts to advance near Chasovy Yar, Predtechyny, and Bila Hora.
The enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 19 times in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Toretsk, Dachny, Krymske, and Diliivka.
The enemy is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsky direction. Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 87 assault and offensive actions. The activity of the Russian occupiers is in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Promyn, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Vidrodzhennia, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoserhiivka, Pokrovsk and Preobrazhenka. One clash is ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, today Ukrainian soldiers in this direction neutralized 293 occupiers, 177 of them irreversibly. Our defenders also destroyed a tank, ten vehicles, eight motorcycles, six drone control points, two portable electronic warfare stations, five satellite terminals and an enemy mortar.
In the Novopavlivske direction, our defenders stopped 25 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynopol, Rozlyv, Skudne, and Vesele.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy conducted 16 assault operations in the directions of the settlements of Rivnopil, Novosilka, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole and Novopil, while simultaneously carrying out air strikes on Novopil. The defense forces successfully stopped 15 enemy attacks, and one clash is currently ongoing.
Nine battles took place in the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove, Lobkove and Shcherbaki, one battle is ongoing. Enemy aircraft struck the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Novoandreyevka and Kamianske.
In the Dnieper direction, our defenders successfully stopped two enemy attacks.
Twenty-five combat engagements took place today in the Kursk direction. During the day, the enemy carried out 340 artillery attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out 12 air strikes, dropping 15 guided bombs.
Today, we should note the soldiers of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade, the 105th Border Detachment, the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, and the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, who, in extremely difficult conditions, restrained the attacks of superior enemy forces and inflicted significant losses on them.
