A few days ago, we started receiving messages from customers that the Yurka 1.2 detectors they received “beep at everything”. We were not able to reproduce the problem in our conditions right away, but yesterday, with the help of our customers who tested different firmware versions, the reason for this behavior was found. When finalizing the firmware for video interception, an error was made that only manifested itself when sensitivity was reduced. We test the detectors at 100% sensitivity, and therefore no one noticed this error at any stage of testing.
The problem is solved by reflashing the detector. The file with the corrected firmware is attached.
ATTENTION! The firmware does not fit detectors that were released before June 2024. The update for them will be released in about a week. Do not try to update them now!
The update procedure is as follows:
1. Turn off the detector
2. Press and hold the “+” button and briefly press the “P” button.
3. Connect the USB cable to the detector
4. Launch the UpdaterUSB program, select the COM port with the highest number, select the firmware file and click the “Update” button. The process will take a couple of minutes and at the end the “Ready” status will appear. You can turn on the detector.
5. Check and, if necessary, change the settings in the menu.
