Researcher HighMarsed noticed that the Google Earth service recently updated the satellite images of the 109th storage base in the Battery of the Irkutsk region of the Russian Federation (109 arsenal of GRAU). Latest shot dates as of May 24, 2024.

🗣 Since 2022, images of this storage base have been repeatedly updated and the researcher has compiled his own graph showing the decrease in artillery stocks. According to observations, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, artillery pieces have been withdrawn at a rate of ~17.5 units per month, but since May 2023 no change has been observed.
In 2022 and 2023, many Russian storage bases underwent some reorganization and downsizing of military equipment, but since then, withdrawal rates have often varied widely across bases. Some possible causes could be faulty or unsuitable hardware.
In the case of the 109 GRAU arsenal, some of the remaining guns may be in poor condition, but the researcher counted approximately 41 units of the 2A36 (Hyacinth-B – Soviet 152mm towed gun) . At least 20 of them (marked in red) appear to be in good condition.
Also, tracking changes in dynamics on satellite images, the researcher noticed that the Russians repaired the roofs and even built a new canopy at this storage base. In addition, piles of scrap appeared, probably as a result of the removal of spare parts from the equipment.
