The American telecommunications company AT&T is exposed to a new hack
The 𝐇𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 group reported that it was able to penetrate the global telecommunications giant AT&T, and pulled many databases containing various records. The group also published a sample containing 81 million records, dating back to the period between 2018 and 2019.
This is not the first time that the American telecommunications company AT&T has been hacked. Last year, AT&T confirmed that hackers were able to access nine million of its customers’ account details.
AT&T is an American multinational holding company headquartered in downtown Dallas, Texas. It is the fourth largest telecommunications company in the world in terms of revenue and the largest wireless services provider in the United States. As of 2020, the company ranks ninth in the Fortune 500 ranking of the largest American companies with revenues of $181 billion.
