The Sevastopol “governor” announced a missile attack and warned of a new air threat
In Sevastopol, according to preliminary data, air defense systems were activated, as a result of which rocket debris fell in the area of the pier in Sukharnaya Balka. This was reported by the Russian-appointed head of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
In addition, he warned residents twice in the morning about a new air danger, calling on them to turn off gas, water and electricity, and also to take shelter in a room with load-bearing walls.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence said that at least nine people were killed in the attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet
According to Kirill Budanov, another 19 people were injured.
“Among the wounded is the commander of the group, Colonel General [Alexander] Romanchuk, in very serious condition. The chief of staff, Lieutenant General [Oleg] Tsekov, is unconscious. The number of injured ordinary military personnel who are not headquarters employees is still being determined. These are the military who are on duty, security, and so on – they are not included in the list that I announced to you,” Budanov told Voice of America.
On September 22, the authorities of annexed Sevastopol reported a missile attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. The Ministry of Defense said that one serviceman was killed as a result of the attack, but then the message in the department’s telegram channel was changed and said that he was not killed, but missing.
