Zero Trust was built to verify humans and devices. In 2026, the thing inside the perimeter is neither.
Treadstone 71 founder Jeff Bardin will speak at the IS2 2026 in Prague this June on what that shift demands of intelligence analysts and security leaders. The session — “Predictive Intelligence and Structured Analysis in a Zero-Trust World” — argues that agentic AI is now a fourth class of principal alongside humans, devices, and service accounts. It holds delegated credentials. It moves at machine speed. The architecture wasn’t built for it.
Architecture alone cannot close the gap. Reasoning has to.
The talk presents six structured analytic techniques — ATCRI, ACS, DUM, CARM, CRS, HET — operating as a closed analytic loop. Each method counters a specific cognitive failure. Each informs a specific Zero Trust control. Together they meet what NIS2 Article 21 and ICD 203 actually demand: evidenced reasoning, not just deployed tooling.
A supporting methodology is now available — built upon the paper the upcoming talk (https://www.is2.cz):
For analysts, SOC leads, and CISOs operating in EU, NATO, and regulated critical-infrastructure sectors, this is the bar enforcement is moving toward.
