Stage 1.
Preparing the twisted pair for installation of reset elements. Connecting the XT-60 power connector.
Remove the common shell, separate the copper conductors from each other, divide them into groups: for video remote and control remote.
FOR CONTROL REMOVAL
FOR VIDEO REMOVAL
Preparing the mini Jack connector for connection. We leave one pair of wires on the connector responsible for video transmission, it is highlighted in yellow. We will solder the black wire to the XT-60 connector to -, the yellow wire (in the next step) will be mounted to the twisted pair.
Ground (black wire) – is mounted to the XT-60 connector
Video transmission wire, is mounted to the twisted pair
Prepared mini Jack connector
We mount the twisted pair and one wire of the mini Jack connector to the XT-60 connector, as shown in the figure below.
Stage 2
Connecting the mini Jack connector to the twisted pair.
1. Solder the Ground wire to the XT-60 connector to – (done in stage 1)
2. Solder the video wire to the blue wire on the twisted pair, as shown in the figure.
Stage 3
Connecting the DC-DC step-down voltage converter and setting it up.
Connect the wires as shown in the figure.
Setting up the step-down voltage converter
Connect the battery to the XT-60 connector, measure the step-down converter. We achieve a value of 5 volts at the converter output by unscrewing the trimmer.
The trimmer, which is responsible for the voltage reading at the output
Stage 4
Preparing the video receiver for installation.
Remove the connectors for connecting to the glasses on the video receiver.
Numbering the pins of the video receiver from bottom to top.
6 pin- video
3 pin- ground
1 pin- 5V
6 pin- video
3 pin- ground
1 pin- 5V
The video receiver should look like this.
Remove the connectors connecting to the glasses.
Stage 5
Connecting the video receiver to the remote, checking the functionality.
Solder the twisted pair blue wire to the 6th pin of the video receiver
5V from the step-down to the 1 pin of the video receiver
G from the step-down to the 2 pin of the video receiver.
Checking the functionality
Connect the mini Jack connector to the glasses.
Connect the battery to the XT-60 connector.
Set the required channel on the video receiver.
Turn on the drone, at a given frequency.
If there is a picture, we proceed to waterproofing and installation in the boxes.
