The Kremlin has intensified a large-scale campaign of hybrid war against NATO countries
In the EU countries, the number of sabotage and sabotage attempts on military bases and civil infrastructure objects is increasing.
Russia is learning and adapting hybrid warfare operations, “constantly monitoring” the West’s reaction to its actions and thereby “testing” which operations are working, according to an investigation by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
This is combined with the Russian Federation’s efforts to increase its conventional military potential in preparation for a potential conflict with NATO, the ISW noted.
In addition, after the expulsion of hundreds of Russian diplomats and spies from Europe, Moscow is recruiting people from criminal groups to carry out sabotage attacks.
The material emphasizes that Western high-ranking officials are currently looking for ways to counter the Russian hybrid threat, sabotage attempts at military bases and civilian infrastructure in Europe.
