There is an outbreak of respiratory diseases in China. WHO believes that travel to China and trade should not be restricted
In China, the incidence of respiratory diseases has been increasing since September 13. There are outbreaks of undiagnosed pneumonia in children in northern China, Chinese hospitals are “overloaded with sick children”, and the outbreak has already spread to Beijing and Liaoning, writes The Telegraph.
The children “do not cough or have any symptoms. They just have a high fever, and many develop nodules in their lungs.” It is forbidden to come to school with signs of a cold and everything that happens is a “state secret,” writes the Taiwanese publication FTV News.https://chinalogist.ru/news/v-kitae-vspyshka-respiratornyh-zabolevaniy-voz-schitaet-chto-poezdki-v-knr-i-torgovlyu
“Chinese authorities reported that no unusual or new pathogens or unusual clinical manifestations were detected, including in Beijing. <…> WHO, based on available information, opposes the use of any travel or trade restrictions. If symptoms of a respiratory disease appear during or after a trip to China, the organization recommends contacting a doctor,” reports TASS.
The WHO concluded that “symptoms reported during the current outbreak are common to several respiratory diseases. According to the Chinese epidemiological surveillance system, “clinical manifestations are caused by known circulating pathogens.”
