Russian “volunteers”-socialists conducted a study in relation to the “mass graves” of mercenaries of PMC “Wagner.” The data shown below is for April this year. and reflect the situation in only two such cemeteries.
It should be taken into account that there are mass graves of bandits-mercenaries in other regions of Russia. As well as the fact that only those “K”-shniks were buried in the “mass graves”, whose bodies were not claimed by relatives, i.e., mostly homeless prisoners.
Attached to the post is a list of names of 602 mercenaries who were buried under Goryachiy Klyuch and a list of 216 mercenaries from a cemetery near Samara.

“Protocol” got acquainted with the database of those who died in the war in Ukraine, which was collected by activist Vitaliy Votanovsky. We have selected and analyzed the part of the archive that concerns the burial of Wagner PMC mercenaries in the village of Bakuskaya.
Vitaly Votanovsky is a former volunteer of the Krasnodar Navalny Headquarters. He runs the telegram channel “Titushki in Krasnodar”. Votanovsky attracted the most attention when he began to systematically publish photographs of the graves of those killed in the war in Ukraine to show the real number of casualties. In connection with his publications, the activist received repeated threats. The Protocol wrote that in early April 2023, Vitaly Votanovsky left Russia, fearing criminal prosecution.
According to Votanovsky, they began to bury the Wagnerites in Baku in September – at the end of August there was not a single grave in this place. The first burials in the database, which the activist gave to the Protocol, date back to the summer of 2022. This indicates the speed of delivery of the dead to the burial place. Vitaly Votanovsky, in an interview with a Protocol correspondent, cited the example of Viktor Gabov, who has September 1, 2022 as the date of death. According to Votanovsky, he attended the funeral of Gabov, they took place on December 20 – almost four months after his death.
The data also make it possible to form an approximate idea of the human losses in the war in Ukraine, to compare the number of deaths in different months. Four graves date back to July: Andrei Solonin, Vyacheslav Kochas, Alexei Bogomolov and Vladimir Vorobyov. Another nine graves appeared date back to August.
Autumn is the period of active burial in Baku. 12 graves date back to September, and 45 graves date back to October. In November, another 71 mercenaries were killed, who were buried under the Goryachiy Klyuch. The longer the war goes on, the more the death rate accelerates and the number of graves grows. In December, 106 mercenaries died and were buried in Baku. The largest number of graves per month, throughout the entire existence of this cemetery, appeared here in January of the new year, 2023. In the first month of the year, 146 mercenaries from those buried in Baku died. In February, another 63 Wagnerians were killed.
In March and April, a total of 22 people died. 124 names contained in the database do not have dates of birth and death. There is only a full name and a burial number.
